Handcrafted Patriotic Masks, Halloween Fun, and More

The sister-in-law of our nurse, Suzy, handcrafted patriotic masks for all the veterans at Lexington Pointe Senior Living! Here’s our friend, Mike D., showing off his. Mike served in the U.S. Army Artillery unit and is a veteran of the Korean War. Thank you to Mike and all our veterans for their service, and thank you to Suzy’s sister-in-law for the thoughtful and very generous gifts!

“Poetry is the rhythmical creation of beauty in words.” -Edgar Allan Poe

One of our residents, Evelyn P., wrote two poems inspired by her first living with us here at Lexington Pointe: “Looking at the Four Lane” and “Knocking at My Door”. We’re so lucky to have such amazing, artistic people in our community. Thank you for sharing your talents and creativity with us, Evelyn!

We’ve been really getting into the Halloween spirit here at Lexington Pointe! Residents Linda D., Faye R., and Marge D. put together “trick or treat bags” for students at the All Seasons Preschool we have on our campus. Also pictured is Don B. proudly showing off his fun and festive Halloween door decorations. Awesome job, Don!

Talk about Halloween spirit! During another recent happy hour, John and Norella U. enjoyed “green monster” cocktails served in cups decorated with Frankenstein. What better way to serve such a drink?
