Cinco de Mayo Party & Other Spring Activities
The staff at Lexington Pointe Senior Living planned and hosted a Cinco de Mayo party for our residents. Attendees enjoyed a multitude of beverages and snacks, including margaritas, empanadas, churros, and chips and cheese. One of the many highlights was the salsa-tasting contest. A group of Lexington Pointe residents and associates participated in an Earth Day clean-up project this year. We spent about 1.5 hours collecting trash along Yankee Doodle Road and Lexington Avenue while enjoying the beautiful, sunny day. Last month, residents of Lexington Pointe’s Memory Care units helped bring the St. Patrick’s Day spirit to our community with a festive shamrock craft! We worked together to string shamrocks together and hang them on the wall, as well as making collages to decorate the windows.
