Back in March, Garden Cove residents at Lexington Pointe Senior Living enjoyed fun and festive St. Patrick’s Day activities. ?
Residents played St. Patrick’s Day bingo, using Lucky Charms cereal to cover the boards. And some residents got crafty with construction paper, making leprechaun hats (some with beards!) to wear while others donned stylish shamrock fedoras and funky glasses. We also gave everyone silly St. Paddy’s Day names, like Stewie McWalkingstick.
All in all, residents had a great, green, grand time, complete with plenty of laughs and treats!
At Lexington Pointe Senior Living, it seems as though we have some residents who are secretly artists.
For Easter this year, our residents created dioramas out of Peeps. They worked in pairs or groups of three and came up with their tasty and artistic creations over a two-week period. When they were finished, we displayed the Peeps dioramas in our mailroom during the week before Easter, so everyone could see these amazing works of art.
Our residents really got into this craft, adding intricate details to their creations that included:
This was such a fun and creative event for our residents, and each creation was detailed and different. We loved seeing all of them!
